Painting analysis 0.1

Picasso Pavilion

A three-dimensional analysis of Pablo Picasso’s Le Guitariste (The Guitar Player) 1910. The darker, bolder lines within the painting creates shape and depth that has been captured in this three-dimensional analysis pavilion project. The cubed structure allows visitors to move through the frame of the designed space, in front of and behind the panels which intensifies the depth and lines. The transparent materials are used to re-create the translucency that is evident in Picasso’s painting through the use of gradation of tones and small brush strokes.
